Shelf Security and SASS Logistical Support

Shelf Security and SASS Logistics has recently commenced operations in Darwin, encompassing a new development in our onshore activities for offshore Clients. We are delighted that we have had this opportunity to service further offshore development to such an extent. Our company has implemented the same services that exist in our Dampier Karratha Region.

Recently our company upgraded our fleet of vehicles for the Logistical Operations. We now have a 15 seater bus, complete with First Aid equipment, Fire Extinguisher and is fully DPI compliance with TC plates, which allows us to source additional offshore companies who may wish to utilise our services. This vehicle enhances our fleet of an 8 seater bus and a crew cab utility which is utilised in the event of cyclones. Our 15 seater bus has the ability to accommodate the maximum amount of passengers with an enclosed and covered trailer in the event of inclement weather.

SASS Logistics is the approved contractor for Woodside Energy Limited with a further contract renewal of 5 years, providing logistical assistance to associated offshore rigs and vessels, which encompasses the following:

• Coordination shuttling of personnel
• Airport and Heliport transfers
• Accommodation reservations and meal arrangements
• Onshore arrangement of goods and services
• Dispatch arrangement for offshore facilities
• Arrange for purchase of personal items and dispatch.
• Gifts, cards, flowers etc.

Both Minor and Major Medivac pickups and transfers to hospital, doctors, dentist etc, in addition, we have a team of nurses on 24 hour standby for offshore medical emergencies  - this service has been utilised by some of the following:

We further enhance our logistical assistance with the implementation of Medivac Nursing Support, a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week nursing support for offshore installations that are under the Woodside umbrella. Arrangements can be made for other facilities wishing to utilise this service.
